• Park you Ford Ranger into a place where it is easy to move around as wide space will help in working more efficiently.
• Relieve the system pressure then disconnect the battery cable and unscrew the fuel lines. You need to locate the pump fuse or relay and then put a rag on the valve for squirt of fuel. Then, start your Ford Ranger and take the fuse out.
• Clean the filter after locating it which is usually on the right side of the vehicle. Clean it properly and remove the fuel lines connected to both ends.
• Take the fuel filter out of the bracket.
• Then you need to install the new filter on the bracket and then reverse the process that you done earlier to locate the fuel filter.
• Now, start your double cab to check if the fuel filter has been properly changed and to avoid any leakages. Read more...
